Ms. Sharon Bergeron
Sharon Bergeron has earned a solid reputation as a dedicated activist for many causes which have benefitted the citizens of Terrebonne Parish. She currently serves as Chair of both the Morganza Action Committee and the Foundation for Academic Excellence. She has also served on the Board of Directors and past President of the Houma-Terrebonne Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Houma-Terrebonne Arts Council, the Houma Rotary Club, and numerous other organizations. For her many contributions, Mrs. Bergeron was named “Courier’s Most Useful Citizen of the Year” in 1994.

It is Mrs. Bergeron’s belief that The Foundation for Terrebonne General Medical Center, like any reputable foundation, is to not only benefit the entity it serves, but to help provide for the entire community. She believes that TGMC helps the residents of our area to be strong and healthy, but also entices new businesses to the area for the economic well-being of Terrebonne Parish.
